Solved

A grease containment system is required by the NFPA96 to collect all the grease from the exhaust fan. By having a grease containment system will prevent any grease accumulation on/or around exhaust fan rooftop. The roof will be damaged with the grease accumulation, grease can runoff from rooftop grease can lead to environmental hazards as the fats, oils and grease find their way into the stormwater runoff that makes its way to the rivers and streams also finally, grease deposits on the roof are a potential fuel source for a fire.
